Saikia, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. K.K. Das, the learned Addl. Public Prosecutor, Assam. 2. This is an application under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 praying for regular Page No.# 2/2 bail to the petitioner Munindra Kalita in respect of Bhangagarh P.S. case No.83/2025. 3. The present petitioner along with two other persons were found involved in gambling. A cash amount of ₹1,475/-, one motorcycle, one mobile phone along with some other articles suspected to be used for gambling were recovered from the petitioner. 4. The case has been registered under the Assam Games and Betting Act, 1970. The petitioner has been in custody for the last 11(eleven) days. 5. Mr. Das has objected to the bail application. 6. Under the given circumstances, this Court is of the opinion that the petitioner no longer deserves to be detained in custody. His bail application is allowed. 7. The petitioner Munindra Kalita, who was arrested in connection with Bhangagarh P.S. Case No.83/2025 shall be released on bail of ₹25,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kamrup(M), Guwahati Assam.
