Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that provident fund has not been paid though the petitioner has retired way back on 31.12.2023. 3. Nevertheless, considering the nature of grievance, the petition is disposed of with the direction to the opposite party no.3 to look into the matter, verify the facts and take a decision as regards payment of provident fund to the petitioner within two months from the date a copy of this order is submitted. Needless to say that if any interest is payable on the said amount, the same shall also be paid as per rules. 4. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
