By way of this petition, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus commanding the opposite parties to consider the candidature of the petitioner and call her for interview for the post of Anganwari worker. Learned Standing Counsel, on the basis of written instructions, submits that proceedings of selection pursuant to the advertisement contained in Annexure no.1 has already been completed therefore, for all practical purposes, writ petition has become infructuous as the petitioner has not challenged the advertisement. In view of above, the petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
