None present for the petitioner. 2. Mr. Rajeev Singh Bisht, learned Additional C.S.C. for the State of Uttarakhand. 3. Mr. Pankaj Miglani, learned counsel for the respondent-Selecting Body. 4. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs:- (i) Issue a writ, order or direction of certiorari quashing the condition containing in point no. 3 (pertaining to age) of the advertisement dated 18.10.2024 issued by respondent Commission (Annexure No. 1), whereby the cut-off date for consideration of the age of a candidate within the eligibility has been wrongly fixed as 01.07.2024 in place of 01.07.2023 AND/OR (ii) issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant age relaxation to the petitioner/candidate considering the vacancies relates back to the recruitment year 2021-22, notified in the year 2023 and advertisement for recruitment has been issued only in October, 2024. (iii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to accept the application form of the petitioner online/manually/physically for the recruitment on the post of Lecturer Grade Group-C pursuant to the advertisement dated 18.10.2024 and to permit him to participate in the selection process. 5. Learned counsel for the Selecting Body submits that in the absence of any interim order passed in favour of petitioner, he was not permitted to participate in the selection process. He 2025:UHC:8506 further submits that petitioner had crossed the upper age limit and selection process is on, therefore, the reliefs, as claimed in the writ petition, do not survive. 6. In view of the statement so made by learned counsel for the Selecting Body, the writ petition is dismissed, as infructuous.
