The petitioners are arraigned as Accused Nos.6, 8, 9, 10 and 11 in Crime No.127 of 2024, on the file of Station House Officer, Pullala Cheruvu Police Station, Prakasam District, for the alleged offences under Section 447, 427, 467, 471, 472, 420, 506 read with Section 120(b) of the IPC. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the allegations pertain to the creation of documents for transferring the family properties of Naga Mohana Kiran Agro Farm among the partners, who are all family members. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the main dispute, alleging the creation of forged documents, is against Accused Nos.1 to 5, and that the complaint against the Accused Nos.1 to 5 and 7 was quashed by the Court after considering the compromise arrived at between the 2nd respondent and the petitioners therein. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners were only the attesters of those documents, and as such, the provisions of Sections 467 and 471 cannot be attributed to them. Nor can the offence under Section 420 of the IPC be attributed to the petitioners, who were only attesters and scribes for those documents. 3 HN, J Crl.P.No.3350_2025 5. Considering the submissions, Crime No.127 of 2024, on the file of Station House Officer, Pullala Cheruvu Police Station, Prakasam District, is hereby quashed. 6. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed.
