The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is being harassed by respondent No.3 at the behest of certain third parties, and is being repeatedly called to the police station and pressured to settle the matter with the said third party. The petitioner states that he had taken a vehicle on lease from one K.Mani Kumar in the year 2023. Subsequently, the petitioner defaulted in making payments to the financial company and also met with an accident. In this regard, the police are troubling the petitioner and insisting the petitioner to settle the claim with the finance company. The petitioner has also made a representation to respondent No.2, but no action has been taken so far. 2. Considering the above, there shall be a direction to respondent No.3 not to disturb the peace of the petitioner without following the due process of law. 3. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed off. There shall be no order as to costs.
