The grievance of the petitioners is that their land measuring 24 kanals 09 marlas falling in khasra No. 18 situated at village Sitni Nagrota, Jammu has been acquired by the respondents for widening/four laning of Delhi-Ludhiana-Amritsar-Katra Expressway in terms of award dated 01.11.2022 leaving the petitioners without any land. 2. It has been submitted that in the previous past also, land of the petitioners has been taken over by Military as a result of which, the petitioners have not been left with any land. It has been submitted that on the previous occasion, the petitioners had invoked writ jurisdiction of this Court seeking denotification of the aforesaid land and this Court vide order dated 19.03.2025 passed in WP(C) No. 2458/2022 had directed the respondents to consider and decide his representation after affording an opportunity of hearing Sr. No. 171 2 WP(C) No. 2899/2025 to the petitioners but the said order has not been complied with by the respondents. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners would feel satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondents treat the present writ petition as representation and decide the same in accordance with law after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners. 4. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent Nos. 3 & 4 to treat the present writ petition as representation on behalf of the petitioners and accord consideration to the same after hearing the petitioners in accordance with law. A decision thereon shall be taken within a period of one month from the date, a copy of the writ petition and coy of this order is made available by the petitioners to respondent Nos. 3 & 4. 5.
