THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE HARINATH.N CRIMINAL PETITION No.3351 OF 2025 ORDER:
1. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners were arraigned as A.2 to A.11 in C.C. No.980 of 2024 on the file of the Court of the Special Judicial First Class Magistrate (Prohibition & Excise), Machilipatnam, Krishna District, for the alleged offence under Section 498-A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are completely unconnected with the marital disputes between A.1 and the 2nd respondent. However, they have been roped as accused in the case to harass them.
4. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioners, the presence of the petitioners is dispensed with in C.C. No.980 of 2024, subject to the petitioners submitting an undertaking to appear before the learned Magistrate, as and when directed for the purpose of trial.

5. With these observations, the criminal petition is disposed off.
