Heard the counsel for the petitioner, Sri Prabhakar Kumar Singh and Sri Anand Shanker Asthana, the counsel for the respondents. 2. The present petition has been filed challenging the order dated 28.02.2025 whereby an order was passed. 3. The submission the counsel for the petitioner is that no opportunity of hearing was granted prior to passing of the said order, which is a must. It is further argued that the order has been passed even for the subsequent years, which is contrary to law. 4. In terms of the said arguments, instructions were called along with the records vide order dated 02.04.2025. 5. Sri C. Inellumathy, Special Secretary, Cane Department is present. It is agreed at the bar that the matter may be remanded for passing a fresh order after affording opportunity of hearing. 6. In view of the said, the order impugned dated 28.02.2025 is set aside. The matter is remanded to pass fresh order in accordance with law. The said order shall be passed within a period of three weeks from today. 7. The writ petition stands allowed with the said observations. 8. It is made clear that any infractions in the decision making process shall be viewed seriously.
