PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following Order: This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. has been filed on behalf of the petitioner herein/A2, to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.745 of 2024 on the file of the PM Palem Police Station, Visakhapatnam, for the offences punishable under 2 Sections 109(1), 118(1), 115(2) read with Section 3(5) of BNS, 2023. 2. Heard Sri M.R.K.Chakravarthy, learned counsel appearing for Ms.P.Keerti, learned counsel for the petitioner herein/A2, and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the State. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the alleged incident was occurred on 24.12.2024 at around 10.30 PM at a restaurant in Visakhapatnam. On the said date, Accused No.3 filed complaint against the restaurant management and others. On the very same day and at the same time, the counter complaint was lodged by the restaurant management against the petitioner herein and others. The offences alleged against the petitioner herein are purely baseless. 4. Considering the submissions made, there shall be a direction to the Station House Officer, PM Palem, Visakhapatnam Commissionerate District, to complete the investigation in Crime No.745 of 2024, without taking any coercive steps against the petitioner herein. It is needless to state that this order will not preclude the Station House Officer from filing charge sheet. 3 5. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.
