Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 2. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the order dated 12.04.2019 whereby the amendment application was rejected as well as the order dated 18.12.2023 whereby the revision was dismissed. 3. The orders were passed mainly on the ground that the amendment sought was moved after 18 years of the filing of the suit. 4. Considering the inordinate delay in filing the amendment application, I do not see any reason to interfere. It is also to be noticed that this petition itself has been filed after two years. 5. The present petition is accordingly dismissed. 6. However, the trial Court shall endeavour to decide the suit expeditiously.
