With the consent of the parties, the matter is being decided finally. 3. Contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that despite the petitioner having applied to the respondent No.3 for registration of the additional qualification i.e. Diploma in Orthopedic, yet the said application for registration of the additional qualification is pending consideration before respondent No.3. 4. Considering the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.3 to take a final decision on the pending application of the petitioner in accordance with law under relevant rules, which decision should be taken within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the claim set forth by the petitioner.
