(2) By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs: “i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the content made in the representation dated 20.10.2023 (Annexure No. 14 to the writ petition) filed by the petitioner in regard to erroneous calculation of interest and also calculated due amount instead of Rs. 98,00,000/- it has been paid only 51,61,000/-. ii. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to pass fresh order depicting the tenure of fixation of amount (from which date to which date) and also rate of interest (6% or 9%) and pass the appropriate order in the light of averment made in the representation taking into consideration the order dated 22.04.2017 and 27.02.2020 passed by this Hon’ble High Court by strength of which the petitioner was already exonerated by all charges prior to his retirement.” (3) After arguing for a while, learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that writ petition may be disposed of granting liberty to petitioner to make fresh representation. (4) In view of prayer made by learned Counsel for the petitioner, writ petition is disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make representation to the 2025:UHC:7486 competent authority. If petitioner makes representation within two weeks from today, decision thereupon shall be taken, as per law, within four months thereafter.
