Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam. 2. Since the appropriate Court has now been sitting in a Division Bench, this bail application is taken under consideration pursuant to the notification dated Page No.# 2/2 12.02.2024. 3. The petitioner was shown as an absconder in the charge-sheet therefore, the trial Court has issued non-bailable warrant against the present petitioner. He was arrested accordingly and remanded to custody. 4. The petitioner submits that he wants to contest the case and he did not received summons of the trial Court. 5. Mr. Goswami, has objected to this bail application on the ground that commercial quantity of narcotic drugs were recovered in this case. 6. Considering the aforesaid facts, it is hereby directed that the petitioner Gias Uddin, who is facing the trial before the Court of learned Sessions Judge, Sribhumi in Special NDPS Case No.106/2022 shall be released on bail of Rs.25,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge, Sribhumi. 7. The petitioner shall regularly appear before the learned trial Court on each and every date of hearing. If he fails to do so without showing satisfactory reasons, the trial Court shall have the liberty to procure his attendance. 8. With the aforesaid direction, the bail application stands disposed of.
