(2) By means of this writ petition, petitioners have sought the following reliefs: “I. Issue a Writ, Order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to consider the case of the petitioners for regularization on the post of Sweepers. II. Issue a Writ, Order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to consider the case of the petitioners for the payment of minimum of pay scale Rs. (5200-20200) with grade pay Rs. 1800 to the petitioners as being paid to the regular employee working on the post of sweeper on the principle of equal pay for equal work.” (3) Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the issue involved in this writ petition is covered by the judgment dated 25.9.2025, passed by this Court in Writ Petition (S/S) No. 1593 of 2025. He, therefore, prays that this writ petition may also be decided in terms of the said judgment. (4) Mr. B.S. Negi, learned Counsel appearing for Nagar Palika Parishad, submits that he has no objection if the writ petition is decided in terms of the aforesaid 2025:UHC:8716 judgment. (5) Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of in terms of the judgment dated 25.9.2025, passed by this Court in Writ Petition (S/S) No. 1593 of 2025. It is also provided that if Nagar Palika Parishad sends proposal for creation of additional posts, the State Government shall consider the same favourably.
