The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is seeking police protection till the completion of the election for the President of the Mandal Praja Parishad, Tirupati. 2. It is submitted that the petitioner has submitted a representation, dated 21.03.2025, to the 11th respondent. As seen from the representation, it was made on behalf of 34 MPTCs by the petitioner. It is also submitted that the respondents have not acted on the representation. The petitioner apprehends that they may be subjected to illegal confinement or any other illegal activity that could disturb the conduct of the election in a fair manner. 3. The learned Government Pleader for the Home submits that no such representation has been received by the respondents and that the representation, which the petitioner claims to have submitted, was sent by registered post, which has yet to be received by the respondents. It is submitted that the petitioner would have to submit a proper representation, along with an Aadhaar card, to the 11th respondent and also provide details of the MPTCs traveling in a bus or car, including the registration number of the vehicle they intend to travel in. The representation shall also be endorsed by all the Mandal Praja Parishads, on whose behalf the representation is made and upon receiving such representation, the 11th respondent shall provide the protection as desired by the petitioner, with police protection to be extended till 3 HN, J W.P.No.7820_2025 the completion of the election of the President of the Mandal Praja Parishad, Tirupati. 4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed off. There shall be no order as to costs.
