In this writ petition, the petitioner has sought for the following reliefs: a) Call for records from the respondent in respect of the final seniority list dated 19.12.2022 (Annexure-G). b) Issue writ of mandamus directing the respondent to include the names of the petitioners in the final seniority list dated 19.12.2022 published by the respondent in the cadre of Bill Collector (Annexure-G) at appropriate place and assign proper ranking to the petitioners, taking note of - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:23338 WP No. 409 of 2023 their initial date of appointment and consequently direct the respondent to consider the case of the petitioners for promotion to the cadre of Panchayath Secretary, Grade-II and Promote them to the said forthwith, in the interest of justice and equity; c) Pass any other order which this Hon’ble Court deems fit, including the cost of the Writ Petition, in the interest of justice and equity. 2. The learned counsel for the respondent submits that on 15.12.2023, the petitioners have been appointed as Secretary, Grama Panchayath Grade-II. 3. The submission of the learned counsel for the respondent is taken on record. 4. In view of the above, the prayer sought by petitioners does not survive for consideration.
