Since common questions of fact and law are involved in both the petitions, therefore, these petitions are clubbed together and decided by this common judgment. However, for the sake of brevity and convenience, facts of WPMS No. 2046 of 2023 alone are being considered and discussed. 5. Petitioner was an employee of Cooperative Cane Development Union, Sitarganj, District Udham Singh Nagar, who retired on 31.12.2022. Since amount of gratuity has not been released to him, therefore, he has filed this writ petition. 6. Mr. Manav Sharma, learned counsel for Cooperative Cane Development Union submits that due to financial crunch, gratuity could not be released. He assures that upon commencement of crushing season, entire dues of the petitioner would be released, as early as possible. 7. In view of the statement made by learned counsel for respondent no. 3, the writ petitions are disposed of with a 2025:UHC:9262 direction to Secretary, Cooperative Cane Development Union, Sitarganj, District Udham Singh Nagar to clear all pending dues of the petitioners, including gratuity, within six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
