No.7847 of2025 ORDER: This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the inaction of the respondents in considering the petitioner’s representation dated 19.03.2025 for extending the period of contract as per the agreement dated 18.03.2021, as illegal and arbitrary. 2. Heard both sides. Earlier, the petitioner filed W.P.No.3262 of 2025 questioning the proceedings dated 04.02.2025 issued by the 3'"^ respondent herein terminating the contract of the petitioner without issuing any prior notice or providing an opportunity of hearing. 3. 4. By an order dated 06.02.2025, this Court passed an order of interim suspension of the termination order for a period of three weeks. In pursuance of the same, the petitioner’s agreement was extended up to 31.03.2025. 5. Subsequently, the petitioner has made several representations to the respondents seeking extension of the period of contract, and one such representation dated 19.03.2025 is pending before the 3'"'^ respondent for consideration. The grievance of the petitioner is that without passing any orders on his representation dated 19.03.2025, the respondents are taking steps to issue fresh tenders for this financial year. -V . 3 JS,J W.P. No.7847 of2025 respondent submits that the Corporation reserves the right to foreclose the contract without assigning any reason, in such case, the Contractor will not be entitled to any compensation for 6.
