Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was arraigned as accused in Crime No.118 of 2025 of Bhogapuram Police Station, Vizianagaram District, registered for the offence under Section 105 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 3 of the Explosives and Substances Act, 1908. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a licensed contractor authorized to conduct blasting operations. The petitioner entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with a construction company for the execution of blasting related works. Subsequently, on 17.03.2025, an accidental explosion occurred, resulting in the tragic demise of a worker. Although the deceased worker was not authorized to interfere with the detonator wire, he inadvertently disturbed the same, leading to the explosion. The worker sustained grievous injuries and succumbed while undergoing treatment. The learned counsel further submits that based on the complaint of the 2nd respondent, the Station House Officer, Bogapuram Police Station, registered a case in Crime No.118 of 2025 for alleged offences under Section 105 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 3 of the Explosives and Substances Act. 4. Considering the submissions, the Station House Officer, Bhogapuram Police Station, Vizianagaram District, shall complete the investigation in Crime No.118 of 2025 without taking any coercive steps against the petitioner. However, this order does not preclude the investigating officer from filing a charge sheet or final report upon completion of the investigation. 5.
