Through this petition, the petitioner seeks the following relief:- "it is most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the Learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ayodhya Prakran, Lucknow, to decide the complaint dated 28.02.2017 under section 12 of DV Act, and pass an order on the complaint of the applicant, within stipulated period of time in complaint Case No. 187 of 2017 (Smt. Nazia Hasan Vs. Parvez Ali and Ors), Police Station Chowk, District Lucknow" Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner filed a complaint under Section 12 of Protection of Woman from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 on 28.02.2017. The complaint has not yet been decided even after lapse of seven years. Therefore, it is prayed that the complaint may be directed to decided expeditiously. On due consideration to the argument advanced as well as perusal of the record, the learned trial court is directed to make an endeavour to expedite the proceedings of the aforesaid case, in accordance with the provisions of Section 12(5) DV Act, 2005.
