This application has been filed by wife for transfer of Original Suit No. 241 of 2024 pending before Family Court, Vikasnagar to Family Court at Dehradun. 4. It is stated that marriage between applicant and respondent was solemnized on 28.11.2021, but soon thereafter, respondent and his family members started harassing the applicant for dowry, and ultimately on 26.12.2021, applicant was thrown out of her matrimonial home and a divorce suit was filed by the respondent 13 (i-a) & 13 (i-b) of Hindu Marriage Act. 5. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that applicant is without any resources, as she is unemployed and her father passed away long back and she is residing with her ailing mother at Doiwala, and it is not possible for her to visit Vikasnagar on each and every date fixed in 2025:UHC:5481 divorce suit, therefore, proceedings of divorce suit be transferred to Family Court, Dehradun. 6. Mr. Yash Bisht, Advocate, holding brief of Mr. Vikas Bahuguna appeared for the respondent and made a statement that his client has no objection in respect of the prayer for transfer made by the applicant. He further submitted that the divorce suit can be transferred to Family Court, Dehradun with a direction to decide the suit within a specific time frame. 6. In view of the concession recorded by learned counsel appearing for the respondent, Transfer Application is allowed. Proceedings of Original Suit No. 241 of 2024, pending before Family Court Vikasnagar is transferred to the Family Court at Dehradun. The record of the case shall be transferred to the transferee Court, within three weeks. Transferee Court is requested to make endeavour to decide the suit as early as possible 7.
