Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned AGA for the State and perused the record. 2. This petition seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned First Information Report dated 29.01.2025, lodged by opposite party no. 4 at Police Station- Tulsipur, District-Balrampur at FIR /Case Crime No.0025 of 2025 for the offence under Sections 303(2), 317(2), 316(5), 61(2) of B.N.S. and Sections 26, 41, 42, 52 of Indian Forest Act, 1927 and Sections 27, 29, 31, 51 of Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972, so far it relates to the petitioner as contained in Annexure 1 to this writ petition. 3. Learned AGA submits that in para 20 of the writ petition, it has been stated by counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has no previous criminal history whereas as per his instructions there is a history of ten criminal cases registered against the petitioner. 4. Since the petitioner has made false statement in the writ petition, this Court does not wish to exercise its discretionary power in favour of the petitioner. 5. The writ petition is dismissed.
