(Oral) By way of instant petition, petitioners have prayed for the following main relief:
“(i) That the Petitioners may be extended the benefit of regularization with effect from 2018 strictly in terms of the Judgment of Hon'ble High court as rendered in CWP No 342/21 titled as Yashwant Singh Versus state of HP annexed as Annexure P-1 and CWP No 3026/24 titled as Deenbandhu and others Vs state Annexure P-2 as implemented by virtue of Annexure P-3 dated 12th December 2024. The Petitioners may be allowed consequential benefits as granted to others similarly situated with effect from 2018..”
2. Before reply, if any, from the respondents could be received, learned counsel representing the petitioners, on instructions, states that petitioners would be content and satisfied in case directions are issued to the respondents to consider the claim of the
petitioners in light of judgment rendered by Coordinate Bench of this Court in CWP No. 342 of 2021 titled as Yashwant Singh & Ors. Vs. State of Himachal Pradesh & Ors., wherein issue raised in the instant proceedings already stands adjudicated.
3. While putting in appearance on behalf of respondents, Mr. B.C.Verma, learned Additional Advocate General, fairly states that representation, if any, filed by the petitioners shall be considered and decided expeditiously.
4. Consequently, in view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, deems it fit to dispose of the present petition with a direction to the respondents to consider and decide the case of the petitioners in light of Yashwant Singh (supra), expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks. Ordered accordingly. Needless to say, authority concerned, while doing the needful in terms of instant order, shall afford an opportunity of being heard to the petitioner and pass speaking order thereafter.
