This criminal misc. application is filed under Section 528 of B.N.S.S. by the petitioner/accused with prayer to compound the offences and further to quash the impugned challani report dated 27.03.2022 and the cognizance/summoning order dated 05.02.2024, issued by the learned Principal Magistrate, Juvenile Justice Board, Rudrapur, District Udham Singh Nagar along with entire proceedings of Enquiry No.34/2024, “State Vs. Aakash” U/s 354 & 506 of IPC and 7/8 of POCSO Act arising out of FIR No.13/2022, lodged at Police Station Kichha, District Udham Singh Nagar pending before the learned Juvenile Justice Board, Rudrapur, District Udham Singh Nagar, in view of the compromise arrived at between the parties. 1 2025:UHC:4774 2. In view of the fact that a Compounding Application was filed by the parties before this Court, this Court vide order dated 08.11.2024 had directed the parties to appear before the Secretary, DLSA, District Udham Singh Nagar in order to get their statements recorded and to verify the compromise deed. 3. Pursuant to such order, the Secretary, DLSA, District Udham Singh Nagar has submitted his report dated 14.11.2024 which clearly indicates that the parties have settled the dispute amicably and have also verified the contents of the compromise. 4. In view of the above, Compounding Application (IA No.1 of 2024) is allowed. As a consequence thereof, the entire proceedings of Enquiry No.34/2024, “State Vs. Aakash” U/s 354 & 506 of IPC and 7/8 of POCSO Act arising out of FIR No.13/2022, lodged at Police Station Kichha, District Udham Singh Nagar pending before the learned Juvenile Justice Board, Rudrapur, District Udham Singh Nagar is hereby quashed qua the petitioner. 5.
