Raju, learned counsel for the petitioner and the Standing counsel for the respondents. 2. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the respondents have deliberately not considered the candidature of the petitioner for the post of Sub Inspector of Police despite the fact that many juniors to the petitioner have been considered and promoted. He submits that the petitioner has made several representations in this regard none of which has been considered. 3. After arguing at some length, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the grievances of the petitioner shall be substantially redressed in case opposite party No.2 is directed to consider and decide petitioner's representation dated 27.12.2024, as contained in Annexure No.5 to the writ petition, expeditiously. 4. Learned Standing counsel does not object to the aforesaid prayer of the petitioner. 5. Accordingly, without entering into merits of the case, the petition is disposed of finally with direction to opposite party No.2 i.e. Deputy Inspector General of Police (Establishment), D.G.P. Headquarter, Lucknow to consider and decide petitioner's representation dated 27.12.2024, as contained in Annexure No.5 to the writ petition, expeditiously, preferably within six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is placed before him by passing a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law and communicate the decision to the petitioner.
