For Petitioner :Mr.P.Sureshkumar For Respondent :Mr.B.Saravanan Additional Government Pleader O R D E R The petitioner makes a claim in respect of land in Survey Nos. 158/1 to 158/10 on the basis of registered partition deed bearing Document No.4233 of 1905. According to the petitioner, the above- mentioned properties were allotted to her grandfather Narayanasamy and that it devolved upon the said Narayanasamy's legal heirs upon his demise. The said writ petition was disposed of by order dated 21.11.2024 directing the District Collector to consider such representation and dispose of the same on merits. The order impugned herein was issued pursuant there to. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner challenges the impugned order on the ground that the pattadhars were not put on notice and by further contending that the first respondent is not authorised to pass orders on this issue. 3. Learned Additional Government Pleader responds by submitting that the order was issued on the basis of the earlier order of this court dated 21.11.2024 in W.P(MD) No.27790 of 2024. He also points out that the order was issued after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner. 4. Upon examining the impugned order, I find that it is recorded as under in the operative portion thereof: 3/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.(MD)No.7271 of 2025 As is evident from the above extract, the impugned order records that the petitioner traces title from a document which is prior to the period of settlement. The order further records that the petitioner failed to submit the legal heir certificate to establish her claim from her grandfather, Subbiah Naicker. After according these reasons, it is further concluded that the petitioner may approach the jurisdictional civil court. 5. On carefully considering the said order in the light of the averments in the writ petition, I find no reason to interfere.
