Petitioners are aggrieved by alleged encroachment on public path by opposite party no.7. They have submitted some complaint in integrated grievance redressal scheme wherein an inquiry was conducted by Block Development Officer, Fakharpur, Bahraich wherein allegation of the petitioners was found to be correct but thereafter, no action has been taken. 3. Tehsildar is the authority competent in such matters under Section 26 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 as it is informed that land is within the limits of Gaon Sabha. If any inquiry has been conducted and material collected on the complaint submitted under IGRS then the same shall be utilized by Tehsildar and appropriate action, if required, be taken at the earliest in terms of Section 26 of the Code, 2006 or such other provisions as may be attracted. Petitioners may apprise the Tehsildar concerned about our order. If the Block Development Officer has jurisdiction in the matter he may also do the needful. 4.
