CORAM:
HON’BLE MR JUSTICE SHAHZAD AZEEM, JUDGE
(ORDER) 28.07.2026
1. I.Os, namely Mr. Nazir Ahmad, Head Constable (Belt No. 230/AWT), and Mr. Mohammad Maqbool, Head Constable, (Belt No. 95/AWT), are present along with CD files of FIR No. 66/2025 and FIR No. 63/2025.
2. Perusal of the CD files reveals that both the FIRs, which are the subject matter of instant petitions, have been closed as not admitted.
3. Mr. Jehangir Ahmad Dar, learned GA, submits that the closure report stands filed before the Court of learned Magistrate, Awantipora, as back as in December, 2025.
4. In this view of the matter, nothing survives in these petitions for further adjudication. Therefore, both these petitions are dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
5. Interim direction(s), if any, shall stand revoked.
6. However, the dismissal of these petitions would not come in the way of the petitioners, if they chose to avail appropriate remedy as permissible under law.
