ORDER 13.06.2025 Heard Mr. L Gogoi, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. J. Handique, learned Standing Counsel, Revenue Department and Ms. M. Bhattacharjee, learned Addl. Sr. Government Advocate. Pursuant to the earlier order dated 30.05.2025, the Standing Counsel, Revenue, Mr. J. Handique, on instructions has informed this Court that the appeal preferred by the petitioner has been numbered as No. 165 and the same is pending disposal. Since there is already an appeal preferred by the petitioner which is pending disposal before the appropriate authority, this Court considers it appropriate to close the matter at this stage without expressing any opinion on merit. The appellate authority namely respondent No. 2 will ensure that the appeal be
disposed of by passing a speaking order within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. Any order that is passed disposing of the appeal, copy thereof shall be served on the petitioner. The hearing in the appeal shall be conducted by the appellate authority as per the provision of law. The writ petition stands disposed of in terms of the above.
