Administrative Tribunal in OA. No. 5742 of 2013 dated 14.07.2016 for releasing the interest on delayed payments is illegal, arbitrary, violate of Art 14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India, apart from violative of Principles of Natural Justice, and consequently direct the respondent authorities to pay the interest on delayed payments by considering the representation dated 22.01.2024 of the petitioner forthwith in the interest of justice and to pass IA NO: 1 OF 2025 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to pay the interest on delayed payments by considering the representation dated 22.01.2024 of the petitioner forthwith as directed by the Hon'ble Tribunal in OA No 5742/2013 dated 14.07.2016 pending disposal of the above writ petition and to pass Counsel for the Petitioner: 1. Learned Government Pleader for Services-III submits that the order of the Tribunal has been complied with, as directed by this Court and the entire amount of Rs.1,93,886/-, payable to the petitioner, has been paid. He has also produced the copy of the cheque issued in favour of the writ petitioner by name Bandaru Radha Krishna, along with the Bank statement and the photograph, delivering the cheque to him. Additional affidavit of the 4th respondent is also filed to that effect. Copies of the same are also furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner also, on instructions, submits that the entire sum of Rs.1,93,886/- has been paid to the petitioner, in compliance with the order of the Tribunal and as directed by this Court. 4. Recording the aforesaid submissions and considering the aforesaid copy of the cheque and other documents, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
