GP FOR SOCIAL WELFARE The Court made the following ORDER: Heard Sri Dheera Kanishka, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Shaik Khaza Basha, learned standing counsel for respondents 2 and 3. 2. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite the representations dated 19.12.2024 and 11.03.2025, the 2nd respondent is not renewing, the recognition of the Managing Committee/Mutawalli of the petitioner’s Association i.e. Yaqub Sahib Mosque welfare Association and its properties in Kadapa Town. 3. At the hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner confined that the Court would urge to direct the respondents to consider the representations dated 19.12.2024 (Ex.P.2) and 11.03.2025 (Ex.P.1) made by the petitioner. 2 4. Learned standing counsel would submit that the CEO will place the representations Exs.P.1 and P.2 before the A.P.Waqf Board as per Rule 22 of the Andhra Wakfs Managing Committee (constitutions, functions and duties) Regulations, 2009. Thereafter, the committee will pass appropriate orders. 5. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, without touching the merits of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of, at the admission stage, with the consent of learned counsel on either side directing the learned CEO of the AP State Waqf Board–2nd respondent to place the representations (Ex.P.1 and P.2) made by the petitioner before the Waqf Board, Kadapa within three (3) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the learned Waqf Board shall pass appropriate orders in terms of Section 18 of the Waqf Act, 1995 r/w Rule 22 of the Andhra Wakfs Managing Committee (Constitutions, Functions and Duties) Regulations, 2009 within four (4) weeks. No order as to costs.
