PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following Order: The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is arraigned as Accused No. 4 in Crime No. 25 of 2025 on the file of Uravakonda Police Station, Anantapuramu District. It is alleged that the petitioner has committed offences under Sections 108 and 3(5) of the BNS. 2. It is submitted that even as per the complaint lodged by the 2nd respondent, the petitioner is said to have accompanied Accused Nos. 1 to 3 on 08.02.2025 and had questioned the 2nd respondent’s husband regarding the due 2 amount of Rs. 4,00,000/- together with interest. It is stated in the complaint that the accused had abused the 2nd respondent’s husband regarding the due. It is also stated that the 2nd respondent’s husband, being aggrieved by the demand for interest, committed suicide by hanging himself to the fan in the house. It is also stated that the 2nd respondent’s husband had written the names of the three other accused on the left side of his shirt, and not the name of the petitioner. 3. It is submitted that even as per the allegations the provisions under Section 306 of IPC cannot be deployed against the petitioner. 4. Considering the same, the Station House Officer, Uravakonda Police Station, Anantapuramu District, is directed to complete the investigation without taking any coercive steps against the petitioner. This would not preclude the Station House Officer/Investigating Officer from filing the charge sheet/final report after investigation. 5. Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is disposed off.
