Delay in filing the short counter affidavit is condoned for the reasons stated in the affidavit. Delay condonation application (IA No.3/2025) thus stands disposed of. Short counter affidavit filed on behalf of the State is taken on record. 4. In the short counter affidavit, it has been stated by State that after investigation, charge- sheet has been submitted on 06.05.2025 against petitioner-Noor Alam. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it is not clear as to whether till date charge- sheet has been submitted before the court or not. 6. In view of the statement made by learned State Counsel, nothing survives in the present writ petition. Accordingly, the same is dismissed as infructuous. 7. However, it is open to the petitioner to challenge the charge-sheet in appropriate proceedings before the appropriate forum 8.
