Jyotsna Rewal Dua, Judge Petitioner’s grievance is that respondents have not appointed him as Assistant Librarian in batch-wise recruitments held during the years 2002, 2008 and 2010. Hence, he has preferred this writ petition, seeking appointment to the post of Assistant Librarian on the basis of OBC certificate against the vacancies of Assistant Librarian as they exist as on date. 2. Respondent No.1 and 2 in their reply filed on 07.12.2023 have stated that cadre of Assistant Librarian is a 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? yes - 2 - dying cadre; Matter is under consideration of the respondents for converting all vacant posts of Assistant Librarians with nomenclature of Junior Office Assistant (Library); For future, draft Recruitment and Promotion Rules are being framed. 3. In view of change in the circumstances as pointed out by the respondents in their reply, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to file a fresh petition in accordance with law, after incorporating necessary pleadings.
