This petition is filed for quashing the summoning order dated 08.12.2023 as well as the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.1502 of 2023 “State Vs. Simar Singh”, pending before Civil Judge, (JD)/ Judicial Magistrate, Khatima, District Udham Singh Nagar, qua the applicant in view of the compromise/settlement arrive at between the parties. 5. In view of the fact that a Compounding Application was filed by the parties before this Court, this Court, vide order dated 03.12.2024 had directed the parties to appear before the Secretary, DLSA, Udham Singh Nagar in order to get their statements recorded and to verify the compromise deed. 6. Pursuant to such order, Secretary, DLSA, Udham Singh Nagar has submitted report dated 10.12.2024 which indicates that the parties have settled the dispute amicably and have also verified the contents of the compromise. 7. In view of the above, Compounding Application IA No.1/2024 is allowed. As a consequence thereof, the summoning order dated 08.12.2023 as well as the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.1502 of 2023 “State Vs. Simar Singh”, pending before Civil Judge, (JD)/ Judicial Magistrate, Khatima, District Udham Singh Nagar, are hereby quashed qua the applicant. 8. Present petition u/s 528 of BNSS is, thus, disposed of in terms of compromise arrived at between the parties. (Alok Mahra, J.) 07.03.2025 BS
