The present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of order of this Court dated 23.10.2024 passed WPS No. 6861 of 2024. Vide order dated 23.10.2024 this Court has passed the following order/direction:- “4. Petitioners have enclosed representations submitted before the respondents with receipt seal and as submitted by learned counsel for petitioners, till date they are pending consideration. In the 2 aforementioned facts of the case, this petition at this stage is disposed of directing respondent no. 2 to take decision on the pending representation, submitted by petitioners in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within period of three weeks from the date of receipt of this order. 5. At this stage, learned counsel for petitioners submits that they may be permitted to submit fresh representation before respondent no. 2 and direction be issued to concerned respondent to consider and decide the said representation also. In view of the above submission, the petitioners are permitted to submit fresh representation along with copy of order to be submitted before respondent no. 2, if such representation is submitted, the respondent no. 2 shall consider and decide the same as ordered above.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner most humbly submitted that if time frame compliance of this order would be mentioned, the purpose of filing the petition is served for the petitioners because the DPC is going on. 3. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners and perused the impugned order with utmost circumspection. 4. Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case and the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, Respondent no. 2 is directed to take decision of the pending representation submitted by the petitioners in accordance with law, expeditiously and preferably within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order or before convening the said on going DPC. 5.
