Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State. 2. Petitioner has approached this Court for the following main reliefs: "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding and directing the opposite parties specially opposite party no.3 to recover the grand daughter of the petitioner namely Shubhi and also lodge the First Information Report in accordance with law, in the interest of justice. (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding and directing the opposite party no.2 and 3 to take appropriate action on the application dated 27.2.2025 made by the petitioner contained in Annexure No.1 to this writ petition within a period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court, in the interest of justice." 3. Learned A.G.A., on instructions, states that in this case, F.I.R. has been registered at Police Station Mishrikh, District Sitapur, a copy of which, has been provided today to learned counsel for the petitioner. 4. In view thereof, learned counsel for the petitioner prays to withdraw present writ petition with liberty to file a fresh petition, if required, at the appropriate stage. 5. With the aforesaid liberty, present writ petition is consigned to record as withdrawn. However, it is expected that the police shall expeditiously take action on the F.I.R. .
