1. By the present Writ Petition, the Petitioner is seeking a limited direction towards the respondent authority to decide the pending application of the petitioner for deleting the name of Joint holder of land bearing Khara No. 125/1, 129, 1 and 128,1, area 0.13, 0.01 and 0.11 Dismil, Kearpur, Tehsil Ambikapur, Sarguja, District Sarguja, Chhattisgarh.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he has filed an application (Annexure-P/1) before the Nazul Officer, Ambikapur, District Sarguja on 03/05/2024 for deletion of name of joint holder of the Nazul land i.e. Khara No. 125/1, 129, 1 and 128,1, area 0.13, 0.01 and 0.11 Dismil, Kearpur, Tehsil Ambikapur, Sarguja, District Sarguja, Chhattisgarh, however, till date the said application has not been decided though the Nazul Officer has already taken cognizance on the said application by registering a Revenue Case No. 202407021200038/A- 6(A)/Year 2023-24.

Learned counsel for the State would submit that if the application, as alleged by the petitioner, is still pending, the same shall be decided within a stipulated period.
4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the pleading as well as the application filed by the petitioner on 03/05/2025.
5. It appears from the pleadings that the application filed by the petitioner is still pending before the Nazul Officer. Hence, it is directed that respondent No.2 shall consider the said application and shall take necessary decision in accordance with law within a period of 45 days,
3 from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
6. With the aforesaid observation, the petition stands disposed off.
