Debbarman, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. B. Majumder, learned Dy.SGI, appearing for the respondent –Union of India as well as Mr. Kohinoor N. Bhattacharya, learned G.A. appears for the respondent –State. [2] This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs:- “i) Issue Rule upon the Respondents to show cause as to why a writ in the nature of Mandamus and/or order/orders and/or direction/ directions of like nature shall not be issued whereby directing the Respondents to provide the benefit of revised rate of honorarium as per the Memorandum, dated, 21.09.2017, Corrigendum, dated, 26.09.2017, & Memorandum, dated, 26.10.2022 w.e.f., 01/01/2017. ii) Issue Rule upon the Respondents to show cause as to why a writ in the nature of Mandamus and/or order/orders and/or direction/ directions of like nature shall not be issued whereby directing the Respondents to pay interest w.e.f. 01.01.2017 as the benefit of revised honorarium are pending from 01.01.2017 to till date. iii) Make the rules absolute. iv) Call for records.” v) Pass any further Order/Orders as this Hon'ble High Court considered fit and proper.” [3] It is seen from the record that the petitioners herein submitted a legal notice dated 03.08.2023 through their engaged counsel addressed to the CDPO, Kalyanpur ICDS Project, ventilating their grievances. But till date the same is pending with the concerned respondent(s). [4] In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this present writ petition is disposed of directing the concerned respondent(s) to decide the matter upon the legal notice dated 03.08.2023 within a period of 03 (three) months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order in accordance with law. [5] With the above observation and direction, this present writ petition stands disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous application(s), pending if any, shall stand closed.
