N CRIMINAL PETITION No.3221 OF 2025 ORDER: 1. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners were arraigned as A.1 and A.2 in Crime No.7 of 2025 of Krosuru Police Station, Palnadu District, registered for the alleged offences under Sections 498-A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. 3. The learned counsel further submits that the 1st petitioner is the husband and the 2nd petitioner is the mother-in-law of the 2nd respondent/ de facto complainant. The marriage of the 2nd respondent and the 1st petitioner/A.1 was solemnized on 24.02.2023. It is furthersubmitted that the 2nd petitioner never stayed with the 2nd respondent and A.1. On account of certain marital disputes, the 2nd respondent filed a complaint against the petitioners. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioners seeks a direction to the police to follow the procedure provided under Section 35(3) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. -3- CRL.P. No.3221 OF 2025 5. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioners, the Station House Officer, Krosuru Police Station, Palnadu District, is directed to follow the procedure as contemplated under Section 35(3) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 insofar as the petitioners are concerned, for the purpose of investigation in connection with Crime No.7 of 2025. 6.
