Mr. K. Paul, learned Senior counsel assisted by Mr. S. Panthi, learned counsel appearing today on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that it is a fact that the closure notices have been rendered infructuous. However, he prays that directions be issued for due consideration be given to the applications, which are pending before the authorities, for renewal of trading license. 2. Mr. T.T. Diengdoh, learned Senior counsel assisted by Mr. R. Kharsyad, learned counsel for the respondents Nos. 2 to 5, submits that the authorities will consider the applications in accordance with law, most expeditiously. 3. Accordingly, the matter is disposed of with a direction that the District Council authorities to consider the applications, which are pending in accordance with law. 2025:MLHC:199 4. It is further provided that till the matter is finally decided by the District Council authorities, no coercive action for closure shall be taken against the writ petitioner. 5.
