Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Basia P.S. Case No. 21 of 2024 for the offences registered under sections 376(2)(J)(L)/201/120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and section 67/67(A) of the Information Technology Act, pending in the court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gumla. 3. On 06.03.2024, Basia Police on the basis of confidential information that few people are taking a differently abled lady in a red colour Maruti Card towards Rahana Forest, raided the place of occurrence and seized a Maruti Alto Car bearing registration no. JH 01CH 2533 and Mahindra Zylo Car bearing registration no. JH 07C 3662. Nine persons were found standing beside the vehicles. On search, a differently abled lady was found sitting in the Maruti Alto Car. It was suspected that the accused persons had raped the mentally disabled lady. 4. It was submitted that apart from suspicion, there is no other material against the petitioner on the record. It was further submitted that several co- accused persons have been granted bail by this court as well as by the Coordinate Bench of this Court. 5. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gumla in connection with Basia P.S.
