JUSTICE PARTHIVJYOTI SAIKIA ORDER 27.05.2025 Heard Mr. Y S Mannan, learned counsel for the applicant and Mr. K. K. Porasor, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam. This application has been filed praying for correction of the order dated 09.05.2025 passed by this court in Criminal Petition No. 545/2025. In paragraph 3 of the said order, it has been mentioned that “ In the aforesaid case, a vehicle bearing registration number MN-01-AS-8593 belonging to the petitioner was seized. The petitioner’s name is not there in the charge sheet. Moreover, no specific allegation has been made against the present petitioner......” Mr. Mannan has now submitted that the petitioner, in the said case, was the Power of Attorney Holder of the registered owner of the vehicle. Therefore, the aforesaid vehicle actually belonged to the registered owner of the vehicle. Mr. Mannan has further submitted that Wangjan Sumila Devi is the registered owner of the vehicle. After hearing the learned counsel for the both sides, the error stands corrected. The petitioner was the Power of Attorney Holder of the registered owner. This order shall form a part of the record of the order dated 09.05.2025 passed by this court in Criminal Petition No. 545/2025. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
