NARENDRA PRASAD ORAL ORDER This writ petition is filed under Articles 226 & 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a direction to the respondent to dispose of the appeal pending before the respondent filed under Regulation 13 of the Canara Bank (Officers) Service Regulations 1979 (for short, ‘the said Regulations’). 2. The petitioner was appointed as a Clerk in the respondent – Bank on 07.09.2015. Thereafter, promoted as an officer – Junior Management Scale Grade-I, on 20.09.2018. He has given representations requesting for permission to give up his promotion. His request has been rejected by order dated 01.10.2022. Being aggrieved by the same, the petitioner filed an appeal under the said Regulations before the first respondent as per Annexure- - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:23685 WP No. 160 of 2025 D. So far, the said appeal has not been decided. Hence, he sought for disposal of the same. 3. The learned counsel for the respondent submits that, if this Court grant some reasonable time, the appeal filed by the petitioner would be considered in accordance with law. 4. In view of the above, the respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, not later than two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
