Respondent/Tenant PRAYER: Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of Constitution of India, to direct the Principal District Munsif Court, Madurai Town (Rent Controller) to dispose the RCOP No.68 of 2018 within a period stipulated by this Court. A perusal of “B” diary extract reveals that the evidence on the side of landlords have been completed and it was posted for cross examination of RW.1. Under the said circumstances, the landlords have filed an application in I.A.No.61 of 2024 for a direction to the tenant to deposit the arrears of rent. The main RCOP is being adjourned citing the pendency of I.A.No.61 of 2024. Hence, the present Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking expeditious disposal of the eviction petition. 3. It is further submitted that in I.A.No.61 of 2024 so far, counter has not been filed by the tenant. 4. Considering the above said facts, the Rent Controller, Principal District Munsif Court, Madurai Town, is directed to dispose of I.A.No.61 of 2024 on or before 30.06.2025 and the main R.C.O.P.No. 68 of 2018 shall be decided on or before 31.10.2025. 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis C.R..P.(PD)(MD).No.794 of 2025 5.
