The petitioner is stated to have filed an appeal under Section 28- A(4) of the U.P. Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973 challenging the sealing order passed by the respondent - development authority. According to learned counsel for the petitioner, a stay application dated 30.12.2024 was filed in the appeal, which has not been decided so far and hence, the prayer for direction to the appellate authority to decide the appeal and stay application expeditiously. 2. Ms. Subhanjali Gupta holding brief of Sri A.P. Paul appearing for the development authority does not oppose the prayer. 3. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of by providing that respondent no. 2 shall decide the stay application and the appeal, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within six weeks from the date of communication of the instant order.
