S. No. 110 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JAMMU & KASHMIR AND LADAKH AT SRINAGAR WP(C) 376/2025 CM(883/2025) RUBEENA AKHTER …Petitioner/Appellant(s) Through: Mr. Saleem Gul, Advocate. Vs. UNION TERRITORY OF J AND K (SOCIAL WELFARE DEPARTMENT) AND ORS ...Respondent(s) Through: CORAM: HON’BLE MR JUSTICE JAVED IQBAL WANI, JUDGE O R D E R 25.02.2025 1. In the instant petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, the case set up by the petitioner is that the official respondents issued an advertisement notice for recruitment of Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers) and Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers) on 06.12.2024 and the petitioner applied for the post of Anganwairi worker along with the private respondent and that the official respondents have framed a tentative selection list wherein the private respondent is shown at serial no. 1 and petitioner herein at serial 2, aggrieved whereof, the petitioner filed objections thereto on multiple grounds including on the ground that the private respondent in not the resident of the ward for which the post is advertised and that the official respondents though are yet to take a decision the matter, however, the petitioner has a strong apprehension that the official respondents would overrule the objections of the petitioner and offer engagement to the private respondent. 2. Since as per the case set up by the petitioner, it is manifest that the official respondents are yet to take a decision in the matter after the petitioner claims to have filed objections to the tentative selection list, the instant petition, admittedly is premature not calling for any indulgence of this Court at this stage. 3. The petition, thus, is accordingly dismissed. (JAVED IQBAL WANI) JUDGE SRINAGAR 25.02.2025 Hilal Ahmad
