This Appeal under Section 19 of Family Courts Act, 1984, was filed challenging the judgment and decree dated 08.06.2018, passed by learned Additional Judge, Family Court, Dehradun in Original Suit No. 316 of 2015. By the said judgment, the marriage between the parties was dissolved. 3. The wife (appellant herein) had filed this Appeal in the year 2018. 4. Today, the matter is listed on Miscellaneous Application (IA No. 16767 of 2025), whereby the appellant has prayed for disposal of Appeal in terms of compromise entered into between the parties. The compromise deed is enclosed as Annexure No. 1 to the affidavit filed in support of the application. 5. As per compromise deed, the husband (respondent herein) has agreed to pay Rs. 15,00,000/- (rupees fifteen lakh only) as permanent alimony to the wife (appellant herein) and their son, Master Medhansh Narula; the husband (respondent herein) has voluntarily and unequivocally agreed to forgo visitation rights in respect of his minor son and further that he shall not claim any such rights in the future; and the parties shall not file any civil or criminal cases against each other or the family members of either parties, etc. 6. Mr. Karmanay Pandey, Advocate, appearing for the 2025:UHC:3863-DB appellant submits that his client has received a sum of Rs. 7,50,000/- through a bank draft on 02.05.2025, and the respondent has assured that the remaining amount will be paid by him soon after resolution of all pending cases. He, therefore, submits that since the parties have arrived at understanding and have decided to withdraw all pending cases, therefore, this Appeal be decided in terms of the compromise. 7. We, accordingly, dispose of the First Appeal in terms of compromise entered between the parties on 02.05.2025. (Ashish Naithani, J.)
