Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel. 2. The present petition has been filed challenging an order dated 17.02.2025 whereby, the application of the petitioner for grant of arms license was rejected on the ground that the application filed on 08.07.2024 was blank in respect of four columns. 3. The Counsel for the petitioner argues that apart from the applications, which was filed offline, an application was filed online, which is also on record and contained all the relevant particulars. 4. Learned Standing Counsel states that in the offline form certain columns were left blank, as such, the applications could not be processed. 5. Considering the fact that the petitioner has filled requisite details in the online application, the present writ petition is disposed off permitting the petitioner to fill the blank columns of the offline application also within a period of one week from today. 6. In case, the petitioner fills the blank columns of the offline application within time which are in consonance with the online application, the same shall be processed again and an order thereupon shall be passed within a further period of three weeks, in accordance with law. 7. In view of above, the impugned order dated 17.02.2025 is quashed. The writ petition is allowed.
